We brought a new spirit to the Tennent's Visitor Centre.

Insight to the past. A look at the future.

Scotlands favourite lager briefed us with an (almost) impossible task: to bring back Hugh Tennent from the dead. Tennents wanted to install the latest technology in their new visitor centre, giving visitors a fun and interactive trip through lager history.

The latest AR tech

Our sister agency Galactic Experience installed state-of-the-art augmented reality technology into a grand old pub mirror. As visitors step up to the AR mirror, they’ll get a nasty fright from the ghost of Hugh Tennent! Their whole experience is captured and shared across social media platforms in real time, directly from the mirror itself.

Engaging in tech

In the launch stage alone, we had over 3,000 interactions with the mirror, and over 1,200 videos shared across social media platforms. The centre gained a 70% increase in visitors. It’s fair to say Social Space had achieved the impossible. We’ll drink to that.
